Public sector plumbing and heating supplier, Integrated Solutions at City Plumbing, has won a significant contract with housing association, VIVID. This partnership involves the provision of boilers and parts for heating installations, annual servicing, repairs, and maintenance across 35,000 homes in the South of England.
A standout feature of this agreement is the use of StockStar, an innovative stock management platform. StockStar empowers VIVID staff to place and manage orders, track deliveries, monitor stock levels, and generate reports all through a user-friendly app. This streamlines the management of plumbing, heating, and gas components, allowing for efficient operations.
Parts will be delivered directly to VIVID’s team of 42 skilled gas engineers on-site or collected from one of 11 dedicated City Plumbing branches located across the South of England. With City Plumbing's extensive network of branches, VIVID’s trades teams are never more than 15 minutes away from a location, helping to reduce travel time and improve repair response times for customers.
Moreover, VIVID can assign jobs to its engineers using StockStar, which also tracks van stock levels and automatically replenishes items as needed. This feature enhances first-time fix rates on heating repairs, minimises administrative burdens, and allows VIVID to concentrate on its core business activities.
