Renewables at City Plumbing
Renewables at City Plumbing, situated inside selected City Plumbing branches, is our fast-growing, forward-looking business which focuses on renewable energy technologies such as heat pumps, solar panels, battery storage, EV charging and underfloor heating. Our focus is on being a full solution renewables partner to the trade.
Our Renewables experts are trained to provide specialist advice to customers, whether they are installers, Social Housing Associations or major housebuilders. The team offer a fully indemnified design service covering multiple technologies and whole house solutions.
Our first Renewables Centre opened in Farnborough in 2023, offering heat pump training to installers in conjunction with our training partner GTEC, as well as showcasing alternative home heating solutions. In 2024, we were recognised with the first of our industry awards for our innovative training programme and impact on upskilling installers.
A second centre has opened in Basildon, with renewable hubs and training locations opening up across the UK. This is part of a wider plan to support the growth of renewable energy home heating solutions.
