A force for positive change in the community
At Highbourne Group we live by our behaviours and at the heart of this is our focus on supporting our colleagues and others around us. We want to be a force for positive change in our communities and to make life better for our neighbours as well as our colleagues.
This includes a desire to help make the world a better place through our support for Net Zero initiatives which help tackle climate change.
Our partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust
A partnership to improve the lives of young people facing cancer
We are immensely proud of our charity partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust which has now passed its 12-year anniversary. So far, we have raised more than £3.2m, with an aim to raise even more funds in 2025.
Everyone in the business is encouraged to take part, from branches to head office, supported by CEO Dave Evans to have fun and raise money – and ultimately to improve the lives of young people facing cancer.
Communities inside Highbourne Group
Supporting positive change for our people
Our commitment to communities includes our own community inside Highbourne Group and we are always searching for ways to bring people together and improve lives. Examples of our Networks include Ability, LGBTQ+, Menopause, and Race - all of which are designed to raise awareness, support colleagues, and celebrate progress.
Our Change Makers are a diverse group of employees recruited from within the business, who bring their professional skills and personal energy to support the development and delivery of our Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies. The scheme allows for two hours a month to be spent in meetings during work time as well as additional time supporting activities and events.
